Inhumanimal

Synopsis:

A collection of short stories of surreal love, horror and imagination. Theology and science clash in a biology professor’s macabre search for the human soul; a dental patient is unknowingly recruited into an apocalyptic cult; an old man risks the only thing he has left, his dignity, to be with the woman he loves; and a wandering divorcee and his dog enter the cerebral drug trade.

Dwyer & Michaels, Radio Personalities
“The most unusual and bizarre book we have ever read.”

Julie Jensen, Moline Dispatch
“A hair-raising read…powerful writing.”

Authors Note: This was my very first book, much of which was written during my early years of college. One of the stories was previously published (even though the magazine DID go out of business), while the other four were not. The writing is definitely that of a young writer, but I am still proud of the imaginative scenarios and themes. When I’m older, I think I’ll revisit this book and flesh out the stories from the perspective of a mature writer. This is a good book for fans of my other work, but not a great introduction to my writing.
