I’m a turn-of-the-century writer living on a small homestead near Omaha, with my wife of sixteen years. I am a private person, but want to write a journal so that my friends and family have something to read when I die. I have sired three books and am raising three children. I was born when the Earth’s population was four billion people, and in my lifetime that number has increased to six billion. My first word was “baby,” because that’s what I was, and my last word will likely be “insignificant.”
